This article would like to address some issues with the perception of products. What are the necessary properties which the software vendor needs to take a look at if he/she wants to change the quality perception of their software. Is it possible to create software products which are considered as really high quality products and where people are looking forward to buy the software one time? Is there Harris Tweed or Porsche like software outthere?
